ANCIENT EGYPT

Egypt is one of the oldest civilizations in the world.  Can you even imagine 5,000 years ago?  The Egyptians built fabulous buildings and developed amazing technologies all along the longest river in the world, the Nile River.  Does this sound familiar?  Think about the other early river civilizations we have studied so far this year?  You will also meet some famous pharaohs, queens and visit several pyramids.  On one stop you will learn about the mummification process from some experts.  Then, you will practice mummifying a chicken.  So, enjoy the journey and be sure to check out some of the interesting tours on this page.
