April News

Welcome back to school.  I hope that you all had a very relaxing Spring recess.  I am certainly happy that the warmer weather will be with us for awhile.  The winter was beautiful but I prefer sunshine and flowers.  If you are reading this newsletter before April, you are lucky.  I have some great upcoming events for the week we return to school.

                           APRIL EVENTS

BOOK FAIR - Margaret Brent School Library

On April 6 to 13th, our class will preview the book fair sponsored by Spring Bedford Falls Books.  Students will be allowed to purchase books on Thursday morning.  During our last book fair, first graders were allowed to make a "wish" list prior to the sale.   The sale will run from Thursday, April 13 in celebration of National Library Week.  We will have a parent night and I will send information about the event as notices become available.  All students will receive a notice about the book fair.  Great books for the kids and teachers.  I do love book fairs, book stores, and simply reading.

BOOK ORDERS:  Book orders will be sent home on April 24th.  If you would like to order books for your child, please make checks payable to the book company.  If ordering from more than one flyer, you must send a different check for each flyer.  Orders take about ten working days to arrive at MBES.
