Downloadable Lesson Plans from Junior Achievement
LEARNING MAGAZINE published this information in the Back to
School issue. Junior Achievement Worldwide offers five
FREE downloadable lesson plans about the U.S.
Constitution. The lesson plans include concepts,
objectives, recommended time, suggestions for materials and
handouts for grades k-2, 3-5, 6-8. and 9-12. To find out

OTHER RESOURCES TO REVIEW
This summer, I had the opportunity to review the following
resources in the Mount Vernon Teacher Resource Center published
by Teacher Created Materials. The kits are absolutely
phenomenal! You can visit the web site to review their NEW
social studies/history primary sources, etc. There are
also primary source readers related to this unit (Grades
4-8). Here are a few of the kits and resources about the

Bill of Rights Institute had developed FREE educational and
programming materials to help you observe Constitution Day,
September 17, 2007. The lessons can also be used
throughout the year to supplement the social studies,
