MORNING MESSAGE

Morning messages are sentences written on an overhead, chart paper or blackboard for students to read, copy and correct. Each morning my students enter the classroom and are greeted by a message from one of the characters in the story/book we are reading.

The errors that are corrected each day incorporate practice in mechanics, punctuation, and format.
