Our kids have been busy learning about bears this month. Each student selected a specific bear (Polar, Black, Brown, Panda).  They read books about their bear, used the Internet, and worked together creating projects as they learned about their bears.  Depending on the weather and student progress, we will have a "meet the bear experts day" this week for parents.  I will send a notice to you about the specific times and dates as our "experts" near completion of their projects.

    On February 14th, Monday, we will have a friendship/Valentine's day celebration.  Mrs. Levesque is coordinating the activities and food for the kids.  If you would like to assist Mrs. Levesque, you may contact her by telephone.  Additionally, the students will be making their own mailboxes for their Valentine cards.  If you have a shoe box or a small box that would be appropriate for this project, please send the box with your child to school this week.  The boxes DO NEED LIDS.  They will take their mailboxes home Monday, February 14th after the celebration.
