                  First Grade

 Welcome to Room 35 at Margaret Brent Elementary School in Virginia.  Our first graders have been learning about Japan this month.  They have had many wonderful cultural experiences.  Our scrapbook pictures portray this journey.  Arigato for visiting.

The students worked in groups researching the cultural aspects of Japan.  They made representations of the matsuris and made oral presentations about their learning.
