Welcome To Japan

My first grade students love learning about other communities.  This Japan unit is always one of their favorite studies each year.  It is interesting to observe my Spanish speaking students learning Japanese at such a progressive rate.  As they progress through the elementary grades at our school, their teachers tell me that they still want to sing Japanese celebration songs and speak Japanese.

This unit is not a petite creature.  The content is modified and expanded as I observe and reflect on my students' learning each year.  The menu "passport" will guide you to various pages dedicated to our experiences.

Thank you (Ari-ga-to) for visiting.  Enjoy your visit.
