February is a perfect month to celebrate patriotism.  Learning about President's Day, our government, state, country, and our patriotic symbols in the primary and intermediate grades enables children to develop pride in their country and citizenship. The links on the menu have historical content from early colonial government, the American Revolution, and the Civil War.  The activities and resources in these units has been a work in progress for over two decades.  Consequently, I have more ideas and teacher resources than time.  I will add more ideas, pictures and resources as time permits.  So, please visit often.
