books and resources listed on this page for parents,
students, and teachers. The Little House books
pictured on this site reflect diverse levels of reading
ability. "My First Little House" series is
excellent for early readers. The pages have
delightful illustrations, enlarged text, and minimal
sentences on each page. There are books for more
fluent readers also. To view the books, simply

The
following music CDs have many wonderful songs from the
1800s about moving West. Many of the songs on the
CDs are the same songs that Laura Ingalls Wilder learned
as she listened to Pa play his fiddle.
Additionally, many students learn best through the
creative arts. My students love to listen and sing
songs. They especially love the WEE SING FUN AND
FOLK music CD.
