                      Literature Study

  Polar Bears Past Bedtime, (Magic Tree House series) is one of the literature books incorporated in my unit about winter. Topics encompass an integrated study on community change and interdependence.  Additional information about Alaska, the Arctic, and the Iditarod are listed in the Menu on this page.  After two decades of developing the instructional skills and concepts, resources, and information, the unit is expansive.  Since I have implemented the ideas and pedagogy in primary and intermediate grades, you will find suggestions to facilitate differentiation in your classroom.
