Welcome to the special education section for teachers.  This is a new addition to the Primary Teachers web site.  The contents of this page are in the developing stages and will be frequently updated with lesson plans, information, and resources for teachers in both the general education, inclusion and resource room settings.  The content will be relevant for early childhood to secondary teachers.  In the two plus decades that I have been teaching in general education, inclusion and resource settings, I have found that special education teachers are often left out of the daily mix.  If you teach special education you will understand these feelings of isolation.  Hopefully, this page will begin a support network of people who share in the tremendous professional responsibility of educating our diverse special needs kids each day.  If you have any ideas or contributions, please email me.  Enjoy the visit and come back again to see new additions.
