            Many places to visit, lots to do, fun for all!  Be sure to check each week for new and exciting updates as we travel from the Roman Republic to the Roman Empire.  What do you think will happen at the end of this story?  You will meet some interesting people such as Hannibal and his elephants, Caesar, Cato, Tiberius Gracchus, Mark Antony, Octavian,  Augustus and more.  Yes, Cleopatra pops back into the picture again.  There will be a few gladiators to entertain us. Of course there will be some wars such as the Punic Wars and the legionary soldiers.  We will also discover many interesting facts about the Roman government, a republic, plebeians, consuls, patricians, and some laws that may even sound familiar to you.  Are you ready for the adventure?
